Ref ID: 03650-0011867439Classification: Accounting Manager/SupervisorCompensation: DOEOur well-established Ag client in Grandview, WA is looking for a hands on Accounting Manager/Controller level professional to add to the team!The Accounting Manager/Controller manages daily activities in all of the organization’s accounting functions, which may include cost and general accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Maintains the organization’s general ledger, CAPEX project spending and asset tracking, liabilities, expenses, and revenues.Coordinates and assists with monthly inventory and fixed asset cycle counts and approval of all adjustments.Compiles and prepares reconciliations, financial statements and management reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close.Assists internal and/or external auditors with periodic auditing or the organization’s financial records and statements.Reviews and approves all receipts and disbursements to bank accounts for cash flow management.Manages filing and compliance with all government entities.Ensures compliance with Company policies and procedures.WORK EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL SKILLS: Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP concepts and principles.Performs complex tasks typically following established processes.Monitors and maintains SOX compliance.Leads and directs the work of other employees and has authority for personnel decisions.Primarily focused on administering established policies and procedures but may have some impact on strategic planning and procedural change.Ability to foster teamwork.Management skills.Ability to identify and seek needed information/research skills.Analytical thinking skills.A strong understanding of General Ledger and related accounting sub-systems within a manufacturing environment.Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy and timeliness of information.Strong ability to prioritize and meet multiple competing deadlines.Job Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Accounting/Finance required CPA Preferred2-5 years of experience in an accounting leadership role 1+ years of people management experience Costing and/or inventory control experience within a manufacturing environment preferred.
