This is a Contract position in Beaux Arts Village, WA posted May 6, 2021.

T-Mobile FP&A Roaming team is looking for a passionate, self-motivated Analyst to join our team. You will be responsible for monthly forecasts, weekly outlooks, ad-hoc analysis and creating & enhancing our Roaming Forecast models. This position is responsible for providing senior management and executives with the analysis and information they need to make major operational, financial and strategic decisions. As a member of the Finance team, you will work cross-functionally with Accounting and other Finance teams and support the overall Roaming strategy team. Due to the blended nature of this role, the candidate should also have experience using databases like SAS, Teradata, MS-SQL and Tableau. Additionally, you must be able to identify the data sources, extract, transform and create a repository, extract key insights from the data, and then be able to clearly and concisely communicate actionable recommendations. This role can be located in Bellevue, WA or Overland Park, KS. • At least 18 years of age.• Legally authorized to work in the United States.• High School Diploma or GED.• Pre-employment background screen. Bachelor or Master’s in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Analytics or related technical discipline. 2 years of hands-on experience as Analyst in Finance in building and managing Forecast Models Must have experience with SQL and/or SAS, SharePoint site management, including Excel, Visio, and the rest of the MS Office suite. Hands-on experience across reporting solutions such as Tableau, Power BI, etc. Ability to effectively troubleshoot data inaccuracies, identify root causes, and take corrective action. Knowledge of information technology concepts, application development methodology, terminology and standards. Detail oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills to meet critical deadline. Ability to keep organized in a complex, fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Create detailed financial models and enhance existing models to increase efficiency across the FP&A BackOffice team Work cross-functionally across FP&A, Accounting and other Finance teams to drive process improvements Provide ad-hoc analysis as requested by senior management. Develop and monitor goals, highlighting trends and explaining causes of variances to forecast as part of monthly process Identify and contribute to the implementation of process improvements. Gather and document Business requirements for Reporting & Process Improvement purposes. Development and production of requested data and standard reports. Ensure delivery meets agreed upon requirements. Translate business requirements into process/system functional requirements and identify & assess potential data source. Assist with analysis, design, and testing of various enhancements and changes to data & reports. Build safeguards for correct data for forecasting and reporting purposes. Facilitate/lead reviews (walkthroughs) of specifications and program code with other members of the technical team, communicating design, requirements, functionality and limitations of systems/applications to team members.
