Our client?s technology has the capability to change the world for the better!Senior Manager of Accounting and ComplianceSeattle, WA Full-timeSenior Manager of Accounting and Compliance and a key leader on the Finance team reporting to the Senior Controller.You will evaluate, develop, and champion compliance activities and will be globally responsible for implementing and maintaining a system of internal controls that will ensure that company assets are adequately safeguarded.

Under your watch all financial reporting will be prepared in compliance with financial policies, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and other regulatory requirements domestic and international.

You will regularly assess the efficiency of organization-wide internal controls and recommend effective improvements.You will own the monthly financial close process, review staff work and ensure that our financial statements are timely and accurate.

In this role, you will act as the resident specialist to provide technical accounting guidance for the organization.We are already planning a transition to public company life.

Once we do, you will lead the preparation of annual Form 10-K, quarterly Form 10-Q, periodic Forms 3, 4, 5 and 8-K?s for SEC reporting.

You will be the main liaison with our financial auditors and will get our control environment and processes and procedures ready for the road to IPO.Core QualificationsYou will have 10+ years of expertise in your area, a CPA license and deep technical accounting abilities.You are a confirmed specialist working and coordinating across multiple teams.

You are an empathetic communicator and leader who connects easily with people of all different backgrounds, skills, roles, and perspectives.You have prepared a company for registration and IPO and have created Quarterly Reports for a public company.People who have worked for you say you?re one of the greatest managers they?ve ever worked for, and would leave their jobs to work for you again.It Would Be Nice IfYou have Big 4 public accounting experience.You have prior accounting experience with a start-up, a manufacturing company or both.Job Type: Full-time
