Business Banking Operations Manager

We are seeking a savvy Business Banking Operations Manager to join our credit union’s Business Services team. This manager will oversee a team of skilled representatives in effectively supporting and selling the credit union’s depository and cash management services to existing and prospective members and provide oversight of the implementation of all Cash Management products and services in the core. The Business Banking Manager will also provide support to the Vice President of Business Services.This role is temporarily remote. After restrictions from the pandemic lift, this role will primarily report to the Northgate Headquarters office in Seattle, WA.Essential Functions* Lead a team of service professionals to meet and exceed service goal targets, ensuring an exceptional customer experience, consistent with Salal Credit Union’s service standards.* Work collaboratively with VP of Business Services in conjunction with Human Resources to recommend staffing levels and approve personnel actions such as hiring, terminations, promotions, transfers, timely performance reviews and salary increases, in accordance with legal and acceptable personnel practices. Develop and maintain key metrics that can be used as a basis for staffing levels.* Recruit, develop and retain key talent for the business banking deposit area; ensure the training needs of the team are met, including product knowledge and operational training.* Oversees new account documents, setup, and opening. Responsible for accuracy of new account files that comply with State and Federal regulations.* Facilitate weekly business banking deposit team meetings.* Maintains a detailed working knowledge of all products and related systems to ensure successful product management.* Responsible for the smooth and efficient operations of the business banking support team, ensuring that activities are completed in compliance with all applicable procedural and regulatory rules and guidelines.* Participate in the integration of new systems and software services for the department that affect our business members and the support team.* Maintain a list of tasks performed by the entire department.
