DescriptionRobert Half Direct is seeking a full-time Controller to join a small company within the construction industry.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of recent accounting experience and a working knowledge of financial software.

Related construction industry accounting experience is a plus.Responsibilities:+ Manage and perform typical accounting functions such as: AR, AP, external audits, payroll, etc.+ Compile and analyze financial reporting packages+ Manage cash flow, projections and loan management+ Determine tax applications and liability, prepare required returns+ Manage processes+ Maintain accounting filing systemRequirements+ 3+ years of recent Accounting/Bookkeeping experience+ Working knowledge of financial software+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills+ Strong customer service skillsDesired:+ Construction related experience+ Prevailing wages, fringe benefits and certified payroll reports+ College degree in accounting, finance or business+ Ability to participate as a member of corporate leadership teamRobert Half Finance & Accounting matches skilled professionals with remote or on-site jobs in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, audit, taxation and more on a full-time basis.
