Job Details

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to analyze, understand and report on key financial and business trends for the company. As a Financial Analyst, you will contribute to the success by supporting the organization’s strategic planning and operational decision-making. The Financial Analyst will research and organize financial and operations data to create and report monthly financials, variances and trending analyses. This role will work directly with a Finance Analyst I and the Finance Manager to create accurate, timely and relevant financial information and ad hoc analyses as requested by the executive team. Monthly financial statements include but are not limited to fixed asset schedules, supporting detailed and aged receivables and payable reports.

• Support the development of financial strategic plans. Establish timelines, manage consolidation and initiates timely reviews of the financial projections to ensure plans are delivered on time and are consistent with overall company objectives.
• Perform sensitivity and incremental cost/benefit decision analyses. Collaborate closely with our onboarding team to ensure accurate and consistent projections.
• Prepare management reports against forecast, budget and prior year. Provide root cause variance explanations and highlight opportunities for improvement and growth.
• Analyze financial & operational results to understand and report underlying causes for business performance and variance.
• Maintain and update weekly and monthly projections, collaborating with Accounting and Billing on trends and budgets.
• Assist with review of monthly accounting close.
• Prepare various analyses used by management in making informed operating decisions and provide recommendations as appropriate.
• Develop and provide training to leadership teams and managers regarding budget reporting, metrics and related information.

Required

• 3+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst
• Experience with financial modeling and SQL
