Financial Analyst III

Location SeaTac, WA Description Our client is currently seeking a Financial Analyst III for a 6+ month contract position in Kent, WA. Responsibilities Partner with functional leadership to formulate multi-year project budgets Lead your teams through various business rhythms, including development of 5-year planning exercises, annual operating plans, and monthly outlook updates Translate financial data and performance into actional information for budget owners and other leaders Align your monthly business rhythms to Corporate requirements Analyze transaction level data on a weekly basis. Data mining across diverse data sets Formulate revised monthly outlooks and input to financial planning system Drive execution to financial plan (labor and non-labor) through strong analysis and cross-functional coordination Lead the development of estimate at complete (EACs) for assigned projects Anticipate reporting needs from budget owners and functional leadership Support budget owners in developing monthly variance analyses Support make vs buy analyses Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or other highly analytical field. 5+ years of financial and business analytics experience. Strong analytical skill set and high attention to detail. Excellent written communication and presentation skills. Expert level skills in Microsoft Excel. Experience in helping business managers meet financial targets and deliver results. Understanding of underlying business processes and the impact of financial decisions. or national, U.S. permanent resident (current holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
