The Hospital Director of Billings Collections will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer in order to oversee all financial operational functions of the hospital. The Hospital Director of Billings Collections must be able to collaborate with all levels of the facility to ensure financial goals are achieved. The Hospital Director of Billings Collections will organize and unite all departments that report this person. These departments include Accounting, General Ledger, Billing, Financial Analysis, and auditing.
The Hospital Director of Billings Collections will be a super user of all aspects of the finance department. This will include ensuring all budgets and statements are precise and accurate, organizing meetings with the staff to ensure that everyone is on the same page, and keeping the Chief Financial Officer informed of all budgetary and financial matters pertaining to revenues and expenses.The Hospital Financial Controller will also use their educational and professional experience to ensure that audits are timely and accurate.
