Accounting Analyst

This position reports to the controller.SUMMARY Perform accounting and budgeting functions, assist in the preparation of financial statements, conduct financial, statistical, and analytical studies and related duties as assigned. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable and process every other payroll. Coordinate development of the annual operating budget. Develop/maintain Company compensation plan data. Gather, analyze, and interpret financial and production data. Assist with the coordination of various audits of Company accounts. Assist with special projects in finance, sales, human resources and operations as needed. Maintain and develop inventory costing controls. Work with the Controller to prepare financial reports. Work closely with sales department in analyzing customer and product line profitability measures. Create spreadsheets, charts and graphs as needed. Provide in-house training on excel and word. “Operationalize” analytical thinking. Create models, templates, tools, and processes in support of well-informed decision making. Maintain, communicate, be a resource in support of Company document retention policy. Other duties as assigned.
