The Boeing Company has an opportunity for a Mid-level Programmer Analyst to join the IT PSS Fleet Management Products organization. We are looking for a highly motivated individual that has passion for developing and supporting complex applications and large scale systems. This position will support a number of critical BGS Fleet Management applications.

Location: USA – Bellevue, WA, USA – Everett, WA, USA – Hazelwood, MO, USA – Kent, WA, USA – North Charleston, SC, USA – Renton, WA, USA – Seattle, WA, USA – St. Louis City, MO

Position Responsibilities:

• Designs, programs, tests, implements, documents and maintains computing applications.
• Gathers and evaluates end user requirements.
• Writes and compiles code and constructs database objects based on documented design and analyzes information to determine architecture specifications, parameters for software compatibility, application security needs and other application architecture requirements.
• Modifies or upgrades applications to maintain software functionality.
• Identifies and resolves programming or application architecture problems.
• Reviews system performance and identifies and recommends improvements.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a ?US Person? as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. ?US Person? includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• A Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Geospatial Science, or other technical degree.
• Experience with system architectures ensuring that application integration into the overall system architecture.
• 3+ years of experience in Object Oriented Design and Programming.

• Full-stack development
• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework or Agile Methodologies
• Cloud knowledge
• Web development, APIs, REST, SOA
• Angular JS, Shell scripts
• Software Development Tools (Visual Studio)
• Oracle, SQL
• Reverse Engineering, Re-factoring
• Solution Architect Experience
  •  Understands enterprise architecture standards
  •  Understands development process, methodology, tools, and techniques
  •  Knowledgeable in system delivery process and conceptual modeling
  •  Business-solution oriented
  •  Good written and oral communication skills
  •  Experience in application development and architecture methodologies
  •  Experience with modeling languages and system design concepts and principles

Typical Education/ Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
