Senior Accountant

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT. Olympic Area Agency on Aging (O3A) is adding to their fiscal team! This is a new position. We are looking for someone with strong accounting skills who is a flexible team player. The Agency works in four counties on the Olympic Peninsula, and this position is located in the Port Townsend Administrative office. Our work is primarily funded by Federal and State grants. The Senior Accountant will have overall responsibility for the general ledger with oversight of the balance sheet, will prepare monthly grant billings from multiple funding sources, and will assist the CFO with the Annual Audit report and budgets. BA in accounting, finance or related field and 3 years of accounting, financial analysis and/or full-charge bookkeeping required. 2 year accounting degree with 7 years full charge accounting experience considered. Government and Grant experience highly desirable. Great benefits including pension, medical, vacation, holidays. Anticipated salary range to start $28.06-$30.97 per hour DOQ. 40 hrs./week.
