Make a Difference.Senior Financial AnalystOverview of PositionChange Healthcare is seeking a dynamic individual to partner with the Sales and Account Management team.

As a Business Partner, you will move beyond compiling data and help tell the story behind the numbers.

You will become a trusted advisor to select Senior Executives, and will have the opportunity to grow your FP&A leadership and interpersonal skills.

You will have the opportunity to drive growth for Change Healthcare by shaping and informing the business to drive better partnerships, accelerating transformation initiatives, and generating business growth.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?ResponsibilitiesBusiness Partnership
– Collaborate with cross functional teams such Account Management, Support, Sales Ops, and Business Unit Finance to achieve and exceed financial growth objectives, drive process improvements and support transformation efforts.

Act as primary liaison to Business Partners and their teams, driving necessary analysis and insights in support of the business.

Financial Analysis
– Deliver monthly financial presentations to business partners with highlights of drivers to overall targets and ongoing trends.

Analyze and explain underlying causes for variances to budget, forecast and prior periods.

Research and resolve inquiries from business partners.

Enhance and monthly reporting processes and drive acceleration of self-serve dashboards.

Planning & Forecasting
– Support the financial planning activities in a manner that yields challenging, but achievable, strategic plans, budgets and forecasts and provides clear understanding of requirements and results.

Review and advise Leadership on budget and forecast results based on a thorough knowledge of the targets, history, metrics, resources, and initiatives at the business unit levels.

Identify actionable gap closure opportunities and collaborate with business to create action plans to achieve growth objectives.Modeling
– Maintain and develop various financial models used during the planning processes and to support decision making by executive leadership, ensuring quality, accuracy, and focused analytic review.

Collaborate with cross functional teams, such as IT, Customer Care, and the Business Units, to develop investment business cases and create and track leading indicators to drive success.

Partner with Account Management and Sales Operations to develop repeatable process in support of go-to-market analysis, and develop recommendations on appropriate organizational structures (support levels, customer alignment, etc).

Process Improvements
– Proactively identify and support/lead process improvements and business transformation initiatives.

Constantly evaluate processes to gain efficiencies.

Drive innovation by proactively making recommendations to leadership on new processes, applications and tools.Special Projects
– This incumbent will possess the skills and initiative to carry out special financial planning and/or analysis of projects of varying nature and complexity.

With the ability to drive autonomously, the role will be responsible for clarifying objectives and assumptions or making appropriate judgments & decisions where necessary.

This may include analysis of financial metrics, process improvement initiatives, investment requests, etc.Driving Communication
– You must be a strong communicator with the ability to package and deliver complex financial data in a manner that is both easy to consume and meaningful to your audience.

You will have the ability to deliver difficult messages, ask compelling questions, guide yourself and others through ambiguity, and modify your approach in both style and content/detail to your audience.What are the requirements needed for this position?Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance or Business.

MBA a plus3-5 years progressive experience in financial planning, business development, or analysisAdvanced Excel skills required, experience with other digital finance tools preferredExcellent communication skills, including written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skillsWhat other skills/experience would be helpful to have?Working knowledge of BI tools such as Spotfire, Oracle, TM1/Planning Analytics, Tableau and other reporting and planning/analysis applications highly desirableHealthcare industry experience a plusStrong proficiency in PowerPoint and other MS Office applications.What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?
