Our client in Salmon Creek, WA is looking to add a staff accountant to their public accounting group. This is a great entry-level opportunity for professionals looking to join the world of public accounting. This is not your typical CPA firm and is a more relaxed environment with opportunity to learn and grow professionally.
Responsibilities
- Prepare primarily corporate tax returns for companies and individuals
- Assist with client bookkeeping and helping clients understand best practice
- Assist with client tax planning
- Preparing payroll reports for clients
- Ad Hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
- 0 – 2+ years’ experience in accounting
- Proficient in QuickBooks
