Compensation: $20.90 to $22.00 hourly

This Administrative Assistant job is for anyone who loves supporting the Human Resources department. OfficeTeam is seeking Administrative Assistant candidates who are results-oriented, to perform various administrative and office support duties. Anyone who is deeply passionate about growing their Administrative Assistant career will be excited about this position. Major responsibilities

  • Assists with New Employee Orientation
  • Administratively supports job offer preparation and distribution of new hire packages, scheduling starting dates and initiating pre-employment processes.
  • Assigns new hire training through learning management system.
  • Coordinates the off-boarding process, including the scheduling of the exit interview, last day paperwork and processing of termination checklist. 
  • Completes employment verifications for third parties as needed.
  • Prepares documents for employee changes, including processing of pay increases, title changes, department changes etc.  
  • Maintains the accuracy and security of all HR-related files in accordance with the records retention policy including employee personnel files, medical files and I-9’s.
  • Supports coordination and implementation of employee engagement activities.
  • Processes mail for the HR department, responds to mail or distributes as applicable.
  • Performs other administrative and HR duties as assigned.
  • Provides backup for certain processes and assists with vacation coverage.

Job Requirements:
– At least 1 year of Administrative Assistant experience preferred

– Ability to use the internet for research

– Excellent verbal and written communication skills

– Substantial computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems

– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

– Solid understanding of Human Resources (HR) Administration

– Command of Microsoft Office

– Data entry experience

– Onboarding experience preferred
