Administrative Support Clerk – Cardiology

Description:
Providence is calling an Administrative Support Clerk (Cardiology, Days, Full Time) to Providence Medical Group in Spokane, Washington.

In this position you will:
Maintain, update, and distribute the hospital rounding patient list to providers and staff.
Provide superior customer service performing a multitude of information services for patients, physicians, hospital staff, and clinic employees.
Data entry of new patient demographic and insurance information.
As a member of the hospital patient/provider care team and the primary point of provider contact regarding patient rounding, be responsible for positive relations, and proper telephone communication.
Perform minimal cardiology diagnostics procedural coding and data entry.

Must have attention to detail.
Take and prepare meeting minutes.
Reconciling procedure reports/billing.
Adhere to established company compliance, policies, procedures and protocols.

Qualifications:
Required qualifications for this position include:
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of one year of work experience in customer service
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Suite and Outlook
Familiarity with medical terminology and diagnosis coding
