Requisition ID: 010511 GENERAL OBJECTIVES Assist with any or all duties necessary to run the daily administrative operations function of the business, including customer service issues.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES NOTE: The nature of this position is one where the employee could have responsibility for any or all of the following duties.
In a store environment where these duties are assigned to other specific positions, this position would be responsible for assisting with a wide variety of tasks.
* Assist sr.
project manager in training new designers in office and system procedures.* Coordinate communications and operational procedures with the service center.* Research customer service inquiries by contacting factories and internal departments.
Take action to rectify problems at the source.* Monitor workroom-related transactions and upkeep of workroom logs.
Ensure delivered sale and labor invoices are booked in the same fiscal period.* Maintain office cost and retail price books with extranet communications.* Maintain store supplies.
Coordinate ordering/purchasing of light bulbs, stationary, cleaning supplies, sales forms, etc.* Process blind cash balancing as needed.* Check extranet daily for Internet leads and company information.* Provide coverage for front desk as needed.* Provide support to the sales service coordinator, maintain customer pick-up file, notify customers when goods are in, and follow up to ensure timely completion of the open order.* Process manual purchase orders.* Perform any other duties as required.
