Heavy Equipment Operator

The Levy Group of Companies is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator/Pit Digger to work at our SeaTac Steel Mill Services location.

The Heavy Equipment Operator performs all functions as it pertains to operating off-road, mobile equipment for the purpose of loading trucks, rail trucks, rail cars, feeding plant, and stockpiling materials.

If you have 2+ years of experience operating:
Frontend loaders Excavators Dozers Graders Haul Trucks
– 60 Ton or up
And have a background operating heavy equipment in:
Steel mill services Construction Mining industry Earth Moving

Responsibilities
The Heavy Equipment Operator will:
Comply with all safety regulations, policies and record-keeping Load materials in designated areas Maintain work area to allow safe movement and access Monitor any change in machine performance to identify potential malfunctions Perform daily machine inspection and routine greasing, oiling, and fueling Meet customer service expectations
Skills
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience operating end loader, excavator, dozer, and other specialized mobile equipment Ability to work in confined and congested spaces Ability to lift up to 50lbs Basic Mechanical aptitude.

Knowledge of bulk materials Good verbal and written communication skills.

Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
