Supplier Diversity Category Manager

This is a Full-time position in Seattle, WA posted August 5, 2021.

Position Overview: Our Enterprise Supply Chain group is looking for a Supplier Diversity Category Manager to join their dynamic team Our Impact: The Enterprise Supply Chain team supports the source-to-pay lifecycle for the procurement of goods and services from third-party suppliers.

The team partners with the business to meet their objectives, while driving cost savings through supplier selection and negotiation while considering quality, risk and supplier diversity.

Your Impact: Under the direction of the Director, Category Management, this position will own the expansion and administration of Freddie Macs Supplier Diversity commitments.

Responsibilities: Provide mentorship with the category management teams to collaborate and guide opportunities to expand use of diverse suppliers within our business.

Identification of additional Diverse Suppliers to participate in upcoming opportunities to do business with Freddie Mac.

Routinely meet with and validate certification of potential and current diverse suppliers.

Represent ESC at Diversity events and meetings, as primary contact.

Adept at preparing and sharing extensive and targeted messages utilized for enabling employees, celebrating successes, conveying our policies and standard methodologies both internally and externally.

Track and supervise progress towards established yearly goals; drive simplification, highlight areas of success and areas for opportunity with the organization, leadership and suppliers.

Develop key performance indicators, in partnership with leadership, and provide regular updates.

Explore associations and organizations related to supplier diversity and propose level of involvement that will benefit our companys needs.

Serve as Enterprise Supply Chain Champion and collaborate with the D&I Office to develop and implement strategies, inclusive of annual goals (submission in preparing monthly, quarterly, yearly, and ad hoc corporate reporting requirements).

Seamlessly and successfully navigate the complexities across all categories of buy, within the businesses and functions as well as gaining Executive level support.

Respond to all internal and external inquiries regarding the Supplier Diversity Program Develop, track, analyze and report on metrics that demonstrates value is delivered, and contract obligations are met.

Work collaboratively with other category managers to expand Tier2 reporting and expectations with our Tier 1 supplier.

Identify, recommend and implement continuous process improvements.

Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field 7 years of related experience in supplier diversity management Developed analytical, organizational and coordination skills.

Effective presentation skills to collaborate with various levels of the sourcing team, business units, management, suppliers and clients.

Knowledge of standard procurement procedures, business practices and terminology.
