Our South Lake Union client is adding a Senior Accounting Manager to their growing team.
The Senior Accounting Managers will be responsible for managing a large team’s day-to-day operations across multiple locations with a primary focus on people, workflow, and quality.
This is a heavy people management role, so if you are someone who enjoys project management and being a problem solver this is a great opportunity to take the lead while still maintaining a work/life balance!
Duties of the Senior Accounting Manager include:
Supervise and mentor staff of managers, accountants, and administrative assistants Oversee all accounting and interconnected functions performed within the department Ensure workflow, production, and quality KPIs are established, monitored, and achieved Provide technical training as appropriate Provide accounting updates to staff (GAAP, company policy/procedure changes) that may impact clients and their financial statements Monitor financial statement preparation status and assist managers in staffing analysis Qualifications for the Senior Accounting Manager include:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting with active CPA (required) 7+ years of accounting experience expert analysis and problem-solving skills 5+years experience leading, mentoring/developing, and motivating teams
