The Information Technology Operations Department is seeking an** **IT Customer Support professional to join their team. This department is a critical component to the mission and daily operations of _Eastern State Hospital (ESH)_. Join this highly skilled team with a significant impact on patient care and business continuity.As a computer hardware troubleshooting and repair technician, you will provide technical knowledge and apply technical acumen toward maintaining the operational state of all ESH IT inventory. Additionally, you will provide IT support to employees on campus, so they can perform their duties.Excellent customer service skills are highly desired. You’ll be solving customers’ technical problems remotely and in person.**Some of what you will be doing:*** Support and maintain the CCTV server and all networked devices, including network infrastructure.* Provide network administration: maintain device, group and user permissions; program PLC (programmable logic controllers) variables to maintain consistency with Door Control applications; set recording macros to ensure a balance is reached between quality recording and retention of video.* Program and support ESH 2-way radio equipment fleet.* Provide individual and classroom-based end-user training in support of the hospital.* Support and maintain access control devices, including network infrastructure.* Support the Forensic Services Unit Security Committee with training development; create training resources for distribution throughout the hospital and provide direct training.* Troubleshoot complex computer workstation, printer, network connectivity, software issues, and failed computer components* Perform software/hardware installations, configuration, and maintenance both locally and remotely* Create and install PC images on computer workstations* Deploy equipment for IT customers, ensuring proper installation and validating required functionality* Provide IT Help Desk services and end-user support* Initiate Customer Service tickets and document all troubleshooting steps* Analyze issue patterns to rectify issues* Train users on computer equipment functions* Ensure all issues are logged, and provide timely resolution**What we are looking for:*** Knowledge and Maintenance of Windows 10 operating systems* Microsoft Office 2010/2013/2016 experience* Experience in MS Exchange Administration* IT hardware/software troubleshooting and analysis experience* Ability to quickly learn and support desktop and web applications specific to Eastern State Hospital* Effective communication skills* Minimal scripting skills* Ability to prioritize your work-load**Who should apply?*** IT professionals with at least three years of providing customer or technical support in information technology.**Desired Education / Certifications*** Bachelors degree with major emphasis in computer science* Vicon Certification* CompTIA A+ Certification* Network+ Certification* The HDI Desktop Support Technician certification* Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician CertificationQuestions about this opportunity?
