CNC Machine Operator IDay Shift 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. M-FStarting Wage – $17.00/hour, DOE On the job training provided SUMMARY: Supports operations and engineering to fabricate and build models using manual or computer-controlled machine tools such as routers, milling machines, drill press, bench lathe, etc. Trim and assembles components using manual and hand tools. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Prepare and load stock into machines.; Load and run programs on CNC equipment.; Inspect parts using measuring devices such as calipers; Assemble machined component parts to drawing or specification.; Determine cutting speeds and feeds for material being used; Follow a schedule and optimize time to complete orders.; Paint material.; Perform other duties as required. EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SPECIALIZED TRAINING REQUIRED: Must be able to work safely around machinery; Must be able to read drawings; Must be able to use basic math skills; Must be detail oriented; Must be able to lift 50 pounds; Must be able to follow procedures/instructions; Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures for machine shop environment. MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT USED:Automatic routers, CNC machines, manual mill, hand tools such as routers, drills, saws such as panel, table, and bandsaws, glues such as epoxies and cyanoacrylates, sheet goods such as plywood, marine board, PVC, Delrin, HVLP paint gun.How to Apply:Candidates must complete an online application in order to be considered for this position.
