CNC Machine Operator IDay Shift 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. M-FStarting Wage – $17.00/hour, DOE On the job training provided SUMMARY: Supports operations and engineering to fabricate and build models using manual or computer-controlled machine tools such as routers, milling machines, drill press, bench lathe, etc. Trim and assembles components using manual and hand tools. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Prepare and load stock into machines.; Load and run programs on CNC equipment.; Inspect parts using measuring devices such as calipers; Assemble machined component parts to drawing or specification.; Determine cutting speeds and feeds for material being used; Follow a schedule and optimize time to complete orders.; Paint material.; Perform other duties as required. EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SPECIALIZED TRAINING REQUIRED: Must be able to work safely around machinery; Must be able to read drawings; Must be able to use basic math skills; Must be detail oriented; Must be able to lift 50 pounds; Must be able to follow procedures/instructions; Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures for machine shop environment.
