A local and well-established medium-sized commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to add to their team.
This is an opportunity to work with an industry leader that primarily works on negotiated projects and select bid.
The company provides a high level of construction and preconstruction services to their clients.
Types of projects you will have the opportunity to estimate and bid on include a variety of retail and medical office along with restaurants and aviation related jobs Most projects are either select bid or negotiated work.
Individual projects can range in size from $1,000,000 to over $10,000,000.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position will include, but are not limited to:
Quantity take-offs and ordering materials Reviewing subcontract work scopes Establishing and building relations Creating and updating schedules Change order administration Job close-out manuals Managing punch lists

Preferred Qualifications
The successful Construction Estimator will have at least ten years of commercial construction experience with a 4 year college degree in Construction Management.
Additionally:
Advanced skills with Word, Excel and MS Project New and remodel commercial construction A proven track record of work experience and job performance
