Construction Laborer

Decked Out Contracting is looking for a General Laborer who will assist on our residential deck and remodel projects.

Job Duties:

Assist with hands on building/remodeling of residential construction

General site clean up and maintenance while working and at the end of the work day

Prep site by participating in demolitions, removing debris, unloading construction materials

Operate power tools safely and correctly

Assist the Lead Carpenter as required

Observe all safety procedures and regulatory requirements when working, including when working around moving mechanical equipment, in elevated places, and in various outdoor weather conditions

Load and unload construction supplies and tools from trucks both manually and with the use of equipment

Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Direct experience strongly preferred, but not required

Ability to perform the following physical activities for extended periods of time: standing, walking, stooping, bending, crouching, climbing. Also includes the use of hands, wrists and arms for general labor

Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs on a regular basis, with or without assistance
Ability to read a tape measure and add/subtract fractions
