We crank out some major projects but have fun doing it.We offer medical, dental, vision and life insurance policies; wage is DOE.Duties include operating multiple types of abrasive blasting equipment, hand and walk behind grinders, scarifiers, shot blasters, scrapers, etc.
Applicants must be able to be on feet all day and lift up to 100 lbs on occasion.The successful candidate will demonstrate initiative, be a self-starter with a high level of professional integrity, have a good work ethic and a strong competitive drive.
Strong construction background and experience with the above mentioned equipment is preferred but not necessary.
We are willing to train!
An ability to drive company box vans, and an ability to tow trailers, generators, etc.
is also a big plus!Job Requirements:-Valid WA State driver's license and reliable transportation-Pre DMV Check
– Clean driving record preferred.
NO DUI/OVI's-18 years of age or older-Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen-Agree to a background check-Pass medical exam for Respirator use-Ability to work in a full face mask with hoses and in low light conditions-Out of town travel required occasionally; Per Diem and hotel paid by company-Have CPR/1st Aid Certification (within 90 days of hire)-Must be a US Citizen with all required documentation-Occasionally crews will be needed to work evenings and weekends.Preferred candidates will:-Have OSHA 10 Certification or above-Prior Sandblasting or Surface preparation experience (shot blasting, diamond grinding, etc)-Able to trouble shoot equipment failures-Able to drive a truck towing a trailer-Have prior experience conducting Daily Safety Meetings and/or writing Site Specific JHA's-Lead abatement training/certification-Knowledge of Surface Preparation Standards (SSPC/NACE)For consideration, please copy and paste your work history, certifications and resume with references to Tara by replying to this ad.
