Electronic Assembler

This is a Full-time position in Snoqualmie, WA posted December 9, 2020.

OVERVIEW: * Position: Electronic Assembler/Assembler/Operator/Soldering Technician* Shift: Day shift* Hours: Flexible (most Assemblers start early in the morning and leave in the early afternoon)* Overtime: Frequent opportunities for overtime (extended hours/weekends)* Starting Pay: $18-$28 (Depends on experience and level) WHAT YOU’LL DO: * Wire, solder, and assemble fabricated components to make electrical and mechanical assemblies.* Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product operating requirements.* Assist with repairs to assemblies that fail to meet requirements.* Follow assembly work instructions, drawings, quality assurance procedures, and directives from department leads.* Report problems with work instructions, procedures, mechanical parts, electrical continuity, or anything else negatively affecting quality to the Lead or Supervisor.* Contribute improvement ideas and respond to change productively.

May provide input for work instructions.* Overtime as required.* Other duties as required in support of the department and the company.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ZETEC: * You are a high school graduate (or equivalent).* You have a minimum of one (1) year assembly experience, including one (1) year of soldering experience.* It’d be great if you had a Soldering or Electronic Assembly certificate from a vocational technical institute, but this is not required.* You have the ability to assemble and solder small components utilizing a microscope.* You have the ability to accurately identify components.* You have at least intermediate verbal communications skills and can read and follow work instructions in English.* You have excellent hand/eye coordination and dexterity.* You have strong mechanical aptitude for use of tools in production operations.* You have the ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring drawings.
