Hiring is a human process, and they would like to talk with you online (either through chat, on the phone, or video) to see if you’re a fit!YouTube Link: https://www.youtube.com/embed/aF8RibwTnGYScreening Questions:Mandatory:Are you at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States?Mandatory:Are you able to push, pull or lift up to 50lbs?Mandatory:Are you able to stand, bend, twist, kneel, and walk for 10+ hours?Mandatory:Are you able to work in an extremely hot environment?2ND AND 3RD SHIFT OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLEHiring Immediately for Multipress, Rowland, and Trim Press Operators!Duties:Perform visual and dimensional inspection of castings using Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniquesMark defects and discard defective castings into the designated scrap box.Notify supervisor or Quality Assurance Inspector in case of ongoing or gross defect problems.Operate machine (Robot Cell, Trim Press) to remove excess material. Load castings into machine assembly and initiate machine cycle.Remove fins and other irregularities from castings using the chipper hammer, pedestal grinder, and hand-held grinders, if required.Place castings into shipping container when cycle is completed.Adjust and change cutter head to proper specifications as necessary and record data on cutter head life.Arrange for machine repairs by contacting supervisor or Maintenance Department personnel, as necessary.Operate fork truck as required.Covid Protocols:Plant is under a mask advisory, where we recommend but do not require. There is still aregular sanitizing schedule for all areas. We follow CDC guidelines when it comes tocontact tracing and returning to work. We recommend social distancing and havereduced meetings to encourage this practice. Breakroom and other break areas haveadditional protection – plexiglass barriers in communicate spaces.
