Forklift Operator

Express in Bellingham is recruiting for a seasonal Forklift position for candidates to work in a busy warehouse located in Lynden. This is a short-term position lasting several months that can turn into a long-term opportunity for the best fit. A qualified candidate will have a minimum of 1 year or more of forklift operation experience and warehouse operation knowledge. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: -Loading and unloading freight using the equipment in an efficient and safe manner-Move the product to storage areas with proper equipment-Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate area-Pick orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise to be shipped-Check or count freight for accuracy and/or damage -Participate in physical inventories, as needed-Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking-log daily tasks into the computer-Scanning the product-Lift 50 pounds as needed-Other duties as assignedHow to be successful: -A minimum of 1 year or more of forklift experience, specifically sit-down electric lifts-Tech-savvy to successfully operate onboard computers on the forklifts-Experience using an RF scanner-Excellent attendance-Flexible to work any shift needed including weekends, nights, and days-Good customer service-Excellent communication skills including written and verbal-Take direction well-Safety-conscious Benefits, Perks, and more: -PTO-401(k) with a company match-Medical, dental, vision insurance Interested?
