Forklift Operator $500 Sign-On Bonus!

Our client has an immediate opening for a Forklift Operator who will support multiple departments with the movement of materials and products and takes part in warehouse organizing and finished good inspection.

1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available

Prior experience operating a forklift/forklift certification.

Able to operate a floor sweeper.

Carry a professional attitude with co-workers.

Able to use measuring gauges such as tape measures.

Understanding of basic math, reading, and writing skills

Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations.

Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Requirements:

Perform daily forklift inspections on forklifts.

Safely operate a forklift to move raw materials or finished products throughout the manufacturing floor.

Maintain minimum productivity levels.

Record preventative maintenance activities, quality inspection data, equipment downtime, production output and other key metrics, performing mathematical calculations as needed.

Work as a team with other operators to ensure no line stoppages and improve operations.

Support the recycling area, when needed, and help to keep it organized.

Physical requirements

For this position, it is required to be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

There is repetitive use of hands required with simple grasping and pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds.

In addition, this position requires the following abilities: sitting, standing, driving, bending, walking, lifting, and reaching above shoulders.
