Construction Technician

The Construction Technician will be responsible for supporting the Thrive Developments team with renovation projects.

• This position reports directly to the Project Manager.
• Typical hours will be Monday-Friday 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm with an hour lunch.

Primary Duties:

• Routinely self performs various work independently.
• Assists in building structures and general remodel work.
• Assists the Project Manager in the review, investigation, and validation of Proposed Change Order Requests (PCOR).
• Supports the Project Manager execution of the project schedule by inspecting progress on a daily basis.
• Material movement, loading and unloading.
• Prepare sites to ensure maximum optimization of construction work procedures.
• Must be organized and capable of managing tasks on multiple, concurrent projects.
• Prepare and self-perform all required punch lists items.
• Follow-through to ensure timely and proper completion by trades.
• Must maintain a clean and tidy job site.

Qualifications:

• Three (3) years minimum experience in construction of single-family, multifamily or commercial product types.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
