Construction Project Manager

is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY

Mētis Construction Project Manager (PM) is responsible for supervising development and execution of construction projects.

Scope of work includes all aspects of construction project management from design and development phase through closeout phase.

The PM will be responsible for handling multiple ‬‬‬construction projects at various stages of project life cycle.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES

Project Planning
Familiarization with project and project narrative Levelling and Buyout of MEP and other critical path subcontractors Build project schedule and share with team Review budget before contract signing Set up and maintain project file‬‬‬‬‬ Confirm/Coordinate Permits and Insurance requirements.

Confirm/Coordinate required inspection protocol and procedures Review Primary and Subcontractor and Vendor contracts Work with architects, engineers and designers to finalize drawings and find value as required.

Responsible for submittal schedule identifying long lead time and critical path items Coordinate with the Jobsite Superintendent or Lead Carpenter to prepare jobsite for mobilization‬‬‬‬ Ensure site complies with OSHA and company standards Oversee Project Team integration ‬
Project Execution
Act as a liaison between the site lead, clients, architects, engineers and ‬‬subcontractors Responsible for regular OAC meetings Track budget Responsible for inspections and permits Responsible for construction project management of project including, submittals, requests for information, and change orders ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬ Responsible for corresponding logs, distribute both internally and externally ‬ ‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬ Review field reports from staff and provide feedback and update team as necessary ‬‬‬‬‬ Support site lead and field staff as required Quality control Maintain red-lined drawings
Post-Project
Responsible for the Operation and Maintenance Manual and other documents necessary for job close-out‬‬‬‬‬‬‬ Assist with assembly of Subcontractor and Vendor lien releases
Skills and Knowledge Required
Understanding of construction sequencing, means and methods Field experience a plus!

General knowledge of code and compliance issues associated with residential and commercial construction Fluency in reading plans, specifications, etc.

In depth knowledge of Construction Project Management protocol and processes Strong customer service and negotiation skills Excellent organization and problem-solving skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Self-starter and good listener adept at discerning required steps to achieve goals without specific task direction Able to handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently Comfortable working under pressure to meet required deadlines Familiarity with Microsoft Office, scheduling applications, and other construction related software and applications

Pay: From $68,000.00 per year
