Concrete Construction (Foreman, Finisher, Laborer)

McMillen Jacobs Associates is seeking immediate placement of experienced concrete construction workers for a project in Sandpoint, Idaho.

This job is anticipated to last approximately 9 months .

Following a 30 day assessment period, full-time benefit-eligible employment may be offered.

The company expects additional long-term work opportunities in Oregon, Washington, Montana, and other states in the western region.

Davis Bacon wages for this project.

Concrete Foreman
– The Foreman’s function is to oversee and facilitate all aspects of on-site construction activities or projects.

The Foreman will typically lead a crew of 1 to 20 persons and must have first-hand working knowledge of the elements required for execution of the various activities or projects.

Involvement begins with pre-construction activities with the Superintendent and continues throughout project completion, contract closeout and warranty.

Concrete Finishers
– Concrete carpenter’s primary responsibilities include fabrication, setting, and stripping of forming systems; Concrete finisher’s primary responsibilities include placing and finishing concrete for heavy civil project consisting of concrete repair and new concrete construction.

General Laborer: Laborers have a general responsibility to provide support and assistance to the other skilled crafts working on the project.

Laborers provide support for the carpenters, concrete operations, pipe laying operations, and the general excavation operations.

Laborers will also perform other duties assigned by their direct foreman or superintendent.
