Construction Superintendent – Fencing and Security

Perimeter Security Group is a security systems integrator that specializes in the turnkey installation of perimeter security products, such as anti terrorist force protection products, access control systems, surveillance systems, intrusion detection systems and custom metal fabricated products. We are currently looking to hire a Site Superintendent to join our fast growing company in the Seattle area.

JOB SUMMARY:

Our Construction Management Department is seeking an experienced site superintendent to perform on-site management duties for the construction of federal, state, commercial and industrial projects.

Job Responsibilities:

* Experience with installation of fencing, barrier work, and other force protection and intrusion detection products. Commercial application with hands on experience required

* Electrical knowledge a plus

* Experience working on government job sites a plus

* Progressive experience as a Construction Site Superintendent, including experience with barrier work.

* Working knowledge of construction procedures, scheduling, subcontractor management, and job site safety.
* Knowledge of Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project.
* Problem solving skills and strong communication abilities are essential.
* Manage the daily field activities for construction projects and successfully execute construction projects while maintaining a particular focus on project cost, quality, schedule, jobsite safety, and quality assurance.
* Review project drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and submittals.
* Project coordination with subs and vendors
* Manage the general conditions of the construction project to include procurement of temporary labor, materials and equipment with the approved budget.
* Schedule construction materials testing activities, and safety inspections.
* Maintain project record drawings/specifications/submittals in the field and maintain daily field reports and all other field records/files.
* Manage project closeout process.
