This is a Contract position in Bothell, WA posted April 8, 2021.

Great opportunity for an Soldering Assembler in Bothell, WA! Company repairs electronics components for medical equipment. This position is NOT short term or contractual. Facility is modern and includes beautiful break room with coffee bar, and free on site gym. Full time, temp-to-hire position. Requires strong pb and pb-free soldering skills. Job Title: 2nd Shift Solder Assembler Nature of Duties: Reflow and or remove and replace defective components including through-hole, surface mount, 0402, QFP, QFN, and FBGA’s. Long periods using microscope for jumpers, fine pitch and 0402 repairs. Adding solder paste to individual connector pins to repair blind leads of surface mount connectors. Repairs faulty circuit boards per debug Technician instructions, upgrade instructions, or Purge documentation. Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, and cable harnessing on assembly units. Job Requirements: 3 years experience as an Assembler IPC-610, and J-Std soldering training and or certifications recommended. Ability to use hand tools, soldering irons, de-solder station, and BGA repair equipment. Must be dependable and can work independently. Must have attention to detail. Job Requirements:End up in the field protecting men and women who defend freedomSpecified temperature for soldering, using electric currentMake sure the solder isPerform basic soldering prep by manually removing cable jacket and stripping wires or ribbonization and jacketing, if applicable to value streamMaintain a clean and safe work environmentTrim materials from components to achieve specified electrical requirements or dimensional characteristicsPerforming a wide variety of electronic assembly operationsMaintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned manufacturing areas according to 5S guidelinesSet up station with the correct documents and components per assembly drawingDesolder operations as needed on assembliesUtilizing available machine shop hand and power tools (ex: table/band saws, brake, punches)Check for irregularities and defects and touch-up and repair of circuit boardsMaintain a clean-as–go attitude at all timesPreforming surface mount soldering of components on PC boardsTake part in a training through an accredited college to become IPC-A-610 and J-Standard certified free of chargeUsing both a hand crimper and a pneumatic crimperAlign parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture or other holding devicePerform hand soldering duties in accordance with customer requirements and current IPC 610 industry standardsRecognize operating irregularities and machine malfunctions and make corrections or notify the proper personPerform various hand assemblies, component PCB insertion, soldering, and machine operating duties while building electrical/mechanical sub-assemblies and final assemblies
