The primary responsibility is communicating with customers on the phone and through chat to place orders and resolve issues.

With a focus on customer satisfaction and care; the goal is ensuring the highest quality of service is provided by strengthening the relationship between Delivery Express and its customers.

This role has a secondary responsibility, of general support of the warehouse operation as needed during the day.This is a full-time position primarily based out of our Spokane office and warehouse.

Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 17:00pm and requires an individual with the flexibility to start earlier or end later when necessary.

Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.What you’ll do: Handle 30-60 daily customer service calls, accurately enter customer orders into system and provide service information to the customerInteract with customers daily, responding to their questions and guide them to the appropriate service level to exceed their expectationsSupport shared email inbox, responding to 10 – 20 customers email requests per dayResolve order issues and client concerns in a timely mannerHandle calls in support of route workProactively communicating with customers on job changesTroubleshoot answers to customer questions when they ariseProvides support to other departments as neededResponsible for shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, and receiving in freight and picking/packing orders when neededSupporting day to day warehouse operation needsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities: A professional, friendly and detail oriented individualExcellent creative problem solving and negotiation skillsMust be detailed oriented with excellent organizational skillsMust be capable of learning quickly and possesses good communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlinesExperience solving problems in a positive mannerHave an aptitude for learning new systemsKnowledge of the Puget Sound region, including major cities and highwaysProficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and WordEducation and ExperienceHigh School diploma or equivalent preferred1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in an office or call center environment, Delivery or Transportation operations experience is a plusWork Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.Physical Demands: The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
