This role supports the Geospatial group – deploying products to deliver the Company’s fleet globally large scale, affecting the Company directly.

In this role, you will have the ability to work on software as well as hardware devices (technical breadth, great experience)

Top “must have” requirements:

• Engineer who has experience between 4-8 years.
• Engineer who has experience in coding for couple of years on of the programming language such as Python, Java with any Linux variant.
• Analytical capabilities – if given a problem, they can come up with solution and convert the solution into code.
• Eagerness to learn new functional domain.

Additional requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or relevant work experience
• 5+ years of experience in Systems Administration and Engineering
• 5+ years of experience with a UNIX/Linux operating system
• 5+ years managing engineering team tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc)
• Experience with scripting language (e.g. Python, Perl, Bash, etc.)

Preferred skills:

• Strong debugging and systems analysis skills to be able to identify and quickly resolve/mitigate issues
• Experience building on AWS (EC2, RDS, EFS, ElastiCache, S3)
• Experience in a 24×7 production environment
• Experience with mission critical systems
• Ability to track the health of our services, identify and fix problems on complex systems
