Support School Nurses – Seattle, WA

CareStaff Partners is currently interviewing two (2) Support School Nurses (LPN/RN) for contract positions at a School District near Seattle, WA beginning September 2021. Student Population: K-12 Hours Per Week: 37.5 Job Duties and Role Responsibilities: As a Support School Nurse you will specialize in working to promote a healthy school environment. You will support District buildings to ensure diabetic students or students with other urgent needs are properly cared for. The School Nurse will also be responsible for identifying both actual and potential health problems, and collaborating with educators, school officials, students, and families. Other job duties for a School Nurse may include: Provide healthcare to students Perform health screenings Serve as a liaison between school personnel, family, and community healthcare providers to ensure a healthy school environment Provide health-related education to students and staff in both individual and group settings Monitoring immunizations, managing communicable diseases, and assessing the school environment as to prevent injury and ensure safety Actively participate in school safety plans that address school violence, bullying, and emergencies that may occur at school Provide health advice to school educational teams, such as the Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) team The CareStaff Partners Difference: Join a Family Oriented Team that is Passionate about the mutual goal of finding the right local or travel contract position for You and Your Family!
