Marketing Production Designer

Unico is seeking Independent Contractors.

Job Description

The Marketing Production Designer supports the company’s marketing and communications functions by performing a variety of visual-focused creative services in support of business development and corporate marketing campaigns.

The person in this role can expect to use their skills in content production, performing functions such as editing, creating graphic lay outs, written content, and infographics.

Additionally, this role manages the organization and approval process of key marketing assets, and a variety of creative services.

Essential Functions

Essential Functions include but are not limited to:

· Designs and oversees the production of collateral, including but not limited to graphics, charts, tables, maps, brochures, reports, fact sheets, proposals, presentations and branded promotional material

· Designs and packages digital content and collateral, including but not limited to infographics, data visualizations, email templates, wireframes, and basic websites

· Executes photo edits and processing (e.g.

image clean-up, overlays, color correction, compressing and resizing images)

· Oversees selection of photos for purchase or use in designs

· Assists in developing and coordinating visually compelling multimedia content

· Manage marketing and digital projects with internal clients and third-party creative agencies, designers, and production facilities

· Draft RFPs and Executive Summaries as necessary

· Manage tracking, coordinating, resourcing and managing collateral, digital assets, marketing schedules and campaigns, and network archives


· Understanding of and experience with web design

· Capacity to produce designs that support business goals; broad artistic/stylistic range needed

· Dexterity for juggling multiple priorities and deadlines

· Must be organized, thorough, proficient, and tactfully persistent in project management

· Ability to execute with accuracy and attention to detail

· Excellent communication; must be able to present work confidently, thoughtfully and clearly

· Must be open to edits and redirection and able to prompt and respond to effective feedback

· Expertise in designing for social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook;

· Background in commercial real estate or B2B marketing, and/or experience with Tableau, MapBox, Invision, Google Earth, Prezi, and video editing software such as Final Cut or Premiere Pro a plus


· Two to five years of experience in a design role, or a similar position

· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office

· Familiarity with WordPress, or a similar CMS

· Deep knowledge and agility for designing in InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as PowerPoint and Word

Occasional travel may be required for certain employees depending on location.

This position is in a standard office environment with desktop business equipment and frequent telephone calls.

Noise level is moderate.

Frequent interruptions are common, while under deadlines and time constraints.
