Senior Director, Marketing & Creative

This is a Full-time position in Seattle, WA posted April 28, 2021.

The Senior Director is responsible for providing strategic leadership for PRR’s Marketing and Creative teams.

We are seeking someone with demonstrated leadership skills, who is passionate about networking and thought leadership, and can lead a strong team to grow PRR’s business and build on PRR’s strong reputation.

The ideal candidate will be someone who can inspire, foster and sustain a healthy work culture, and inject innovative thinking into every product.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee and advise on strategic marketing plans as a leader of the Client Services team Sit on PRR’s Management Team and actively participate in the decision making within that body Develop and implement marketing plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services Develop and manage marketing operating budgets Ensure effective control of company marketing results, and take corrective action to ensure corporate marketing objectives fall within designated budgets Monitor and communicate information on competitive products, services, and marketing activities Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners Collaborate with Market Development Leads to drive revenue growth Represent company at networking events and conferences Serve as thought leader/speaker at local and national industry events/conferences Supervise directors and managers within marketing and creative teams Mentor and train emerging leaders consistent with PRR’s Mission, Vision, and Values Collaborate with peers in client services to ensure delivery teams are providing the highest quality products, services and client support
Required Skills and Qualifications
15+ years of experience working in marketing and professional services 10+ years of client management experience in full-service consulting/agency environment Advanced knowledge of social/behavior change marketing, business development, and emerging trends in strategic communication Proven experience in proactively growing accounts through strategic leadership Experience leading an interagency team including Marketing and Creative, as well as leading efforts and collaborative interagency relationships in regional capacity Relevant experience in healthcare, transportation, and/ environment sectors Commitment to supporting and creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace Ability to apply an equity lens to work both internally and externally Demonstrated ability to think and act strategically Demonstrated ability to achieve results and meet goals Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire teams Demonstrated ability to effectively lead other leaders Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality client service Organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels and across service areas and functions Experience servicing government or nonprofit clients within the public sector Success with pursuing and winning new business Comfort with a fast-paced, ever-changing environment Ability to work outside regular hours and travel Portfolio (e.g.

marketing plans/strategy presentations, new business proposals) required for consideration Multilingual skills highly desired
