Mediaocean employs 1,200 people across 20 global offices and is part of the Vista Equity Partners portfolio.nn n Job Description n nnWhat You Will Do: nn nnMediaocean is seeking experienced Software UX designers to join our growing team. As we are aggressively innovating and expanding our product capabilities, we are on a mission to win hearts and minds of our users.

You’ll work closely with designers, developers, product managers and client service representatives to solve real world problems for our users.

You will make a direct impact on a variety of media optimization and intelligence products, drive change and improve processes.

You should have at least 3 years of experience working on UX and interaction design for web-based software products.

This role requires a great eye for design and interaction, solid understanding of best practices in usability, and sensitivity to business objectives and long-term product goals. nn nnResponsibilities will include: nn nnProduce sitemaps, user flows, wireframes and visual design deliverables on a variety of projects. nn nnMaintain and suggest evolutions of our existing UI framework with holistic consideration of the platform’s future. nn nnCommunicate cross-departmentally with product managers, developers and client service representatives to solve challenging business problems collaboratively. nn nnIdentify areas for user research, write, and conduct user interviews. nn nnWork quickly and iteratively while relying on research and feedback to inform design decisions. nn nnWho You Are: nn nnAt least 3 years experience in UX/UI design, preferably working on B2B/business enterprise software products with proven experience in the following areas: nn nnUX Design – Thinking critically and solving business problems in creative ways by using information architecture, wireframing, usability best practices, and prototyping. nn nnUI Design – Using design principles and existing visual frameworks to produce intuitive user interfaces and, where appropriate, develop new styles and patterns that are visually cohesive with the rest of Mediaocean’s products. nn nnProcess knowledge – Designing in an iterative manner, proactively seeking feedback from within and outside the design team, and attention to detail in design documentation. nn nnProficiency in Sketch and InVision. nn nnWorking knowledge of HTML/CSS in order to effectively communicate with front end developers on design implementation.

nn nnAbility to work on multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines in a fast-paced agile environment. nn nnSelf-motivated team player who can also work independently with minimal supervision.
