Data Architect

**Overview:** The Role: The GDC Data Services team is looking for a Data Architect to help drive the transformation of the GDC data architecture, and broadly apply product thinking to data across our analytics platform.

You will lead the work to ensure a consistent, cross-GDC data architecture is developed and evolved for Account Based Marketing initiatives and will also lead the efforts to ensure the quality and flow of Marketing Leads across our connected sales and marketing initiatives end to end.

As part of the team, you will be the subject matter expert on GDC data and how analysts and data scientists will utilize and access data to solve complex business analysis and contribute to the vision and strategy for next gen marketing analytics.

• Be the SME of the GDC Analytics data model, supporting weekly Q sessions and be the first line of support for “how to” questions from the Analytics and Data Science teams.

• Contribute to the end-to-end data architecture and data modeling for the soon to be updated GDC Data Platform.

• Own the cross-GDC data architecture for Account Based Marketing (ABM) and Lead Flow Quality (LFQ) initiatives.

• Coordinate with data owners to obtain access and identify data handling and security requirements.

• Create proof-of-concept tools to validate connectivity, throughput, correctness and limitations of those data sources.

• Work closely with Data Scientists and Analysts to define the data strategy that best meets their needs.

• Collaborate with Engineers, System Architects and Program Managers and Analysts to implement successful solutions.

• Create data quality and monitoring models for key end to end data flows to ensure data reliability and issue visibility and responsiveness.**Qualifications****Qualifications:** Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in big data technologies and principles including data architecture, modeling, design, data acquisition, and data delivery methodologies.

• Practical experience in data analysis and visualization tools with intermediate to advanced query skills.

• Ability to understand JSON streaming messages and create logical designs for transforming data into query able structures.

• Demonstrated ability to facilitate communication between technical and business stakeholders to ensure functional requirements and technical implementation considerations are understood and accepted.

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Strong experience and talent for working cross functionally to ensure end-to-end functional requirements and technical implementation considerations are understood and accepted.Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
