Job Opportunity: Electrical Engineer
– Power Electronics

Location: Seattle, WA

Duration: 9-month Contract to Hire

Pay: $60-$75/hr

Description:
Working in a small team of engineers, you will utilize your electrical engineering skills to help derive solutions to the world’s toughest problems.

Your hardware will be the foundation our robotic systems and translate our system designs into reality.

Apply electrical engineering concepts to systems problems and develop solutions.

Represent electrical engineering (as a discipline) as a stakeholder from product / system formulation through design, build and test.

Support your electrical engineering team with your area(s) of expertise.

Participate in system design reviews, hardware design reviews and code reviews.

Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
Skills Details:
5+ years experience Experience with high-power/high-voltage power electronics in a system Experience with electrical engineering design tools (MATLAB, ORCAD, SPICE, Altium)
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Experience through a complete product lifecycle (requirements, design, build, test, manufacturing) Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout software (Altium Designer preferred) Experience in designing for test and manufacturing (DFT/DFM) Experience in a strenuous, fast-paced team design project (e.g., Formula SAE, Solar Challenge, ACM, IEEE Design Competitions)
