This position is based in Auburn, WA.

The position requires an individual with extensive experience in technical programs, technical program management, and systems engineering of large scale space and ground systems and/or new start technical demonstration space and ground systems, and manage program system safety needs.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and team skills.

In addition, the candidate will be expected to continually balance and adjust work priorities to meet short term work suspense and rapidly evolving customer needs.

Key duties/responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide day-to-day on-site Systems Engineering and Acquisition Support to the Government Program Manager.

Work as part of Government and Contractor technical teams providing acquisition support, project management expertise, and general systems engineering technical knowledge to multiple activities.

This position is to provide systems engineering support in the broad areas of contract requirements generation/review/compliance, space systems technical review and assessment, risk assessment, integration and test, verification and validation, and written technical summaries as required.

The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of Department of Defense acquisition policy and be capable of developing acquisition documentation in support of technical projects.

The position focuses primarily on space based systems.

Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Engineering orrelevant discipline and 14 years of related experience in areas including technical program management, systems engineering, and acquisition within the areas of Space, Space Control, and Reconnaissance Qualified applicants must possess as active TS/SCI clearance and have a willingness to consent to a polygraph examination Desired Qualifications: Master”s Degree in engineering or a related field, Certified Safety Professional or Professional Engineer, 4 or more years of System Safety Engineering PMP certification, INCOSE CSEP, SE Certificates.
