Job DescriptionPay & Benefits:-Base Pay $32-36hr-Approx 85% of work @ Prev Wage ie $43.50hr + $20.54 cash fringe (depending on project assignment)-Medical, Dental, Vision – 99% paid for employee + 50% for dependents -Company Sponsored 401k & Roth 401k-Position Base Location: Milton-Freewater, OR / Walla Walla, WAPosition Summary:Journeyman Industrial Electricians install, modify, troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical hardware, instruments, and systems while providing technical advice and support apprentices and crew. Journeyman Industrial Electricians anticipate project issues, provide shop support for the electrical and automation crews, take direction from supervisors regarding project scope and schedules and communicate this information to crew/team, track and manage task and crew performance, lead installations and ensure crew is performing and has the required Personal Safety Equipment and Tools. Journeyman Industrial Electricians are the technical face of TecPro and represent themselves as confident, friendly, knowledgeable, and professional with other contractors, customers and within the community.Responsible for installation and construction with some maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electrical equipment and systems found in an industrial or commercial environment. Knowledge of the proper use of standard wire, conduit, fittings and hardware commonly found in industrial plants. Ability to read and understand conduit drawings, schematics, drawings, and specifications. Responsible for use and care of the tools and equipment commonly employed in industrial construction, including but no limited to: hydraulic/electric benders, knockout punch sets, cable puller, meggers, hi-pot equipment, volt meters, multi-testers and ammeters. Able to set and coordinate over-current protective devices, size feeder circuits and basic understanding to work on systems up to and including 13.8 kV.Experience and demonstrated ability to bend, cut, thread and install conduit Install and terminate wiring. Check out and troubleshoot simple electric circuits and electrical devices and machinery. Accountable for testing, troubleshooting, setting and calibrating power distribution systems, while working with protective relaying and motor control circuits knowledge.Projects are typically Prevailing Wage pay rates while working on-site. Duties and Responsibilities:OR State Electrical Journeyman’s License is required, WA License helpful. Understanding of electrical circuits including the operation and function of typical electrical devices and machinery such as solenoids, relays, motors, transformers, switches, motor control centers, generators, batteries and lighting systems. Must possess an excellent knowledge of the National Electric Code.• Project Supervision/Management Experience• Guide/Oversee up to 2 Apprentices• Generate Bill of Materials• Maintain detailed records for T&M Billings• Read and edit As-Built Drawings• Travel throughout WA and OR State, possibly AlaskaThis position is located in Milton-Freewater, OR. Tec Pro company headquarters are based in Anchorage, AK and also performs extensive work in Washington and Oregon. Almost all projects for this position require some travel, must be able to travel for up to 5 weeks. Locations vary from remote Alaska to locations in the Pacific Northwest.Required Experience/Qualifications:• 5+ years of experience as an Industrial Electrician / Technician (Residential/Commercial experience will not be considered)• Must Possess Personal Industrial Electrician Tools• Must be energetic team player with exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills• Personal Determination and Resolve with a willingness to embrace daily challenges head-on• Demonstrated ability to multi-task• Strong personal management and personal execution skills• PLC and HMI programming experience in control systems a plus• Personal computer skills in Microsoft products, and AutoCad preferred• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills• Demonstrated continuing self-development• Strong leadership, and communication skills• Ability to work independently, and as part of a team to reach a common goal• Must have a valid driver’s license with a driving record acceptable to the company’s insurance carrier• Must be able to clear a pre-employment drug screen• Must be able to pass a criminal background check• Must be able to complete a vigorous fit-for-duty assessment with lifting up to 75 pounds and a series of assessment exercisesCompensation:• Top of Market Hourly Rate-DOE, with most projects paying prevailing wage.• Health Insurance including medical, dental and vision – 99% premium paid for employee + 50% for dependents• Company sponsored 401K & Roth 401k
