Azure Time Series Insights is a timeseries analytics service purpose-built for IoT scenarios.

We are working with some of the biggest customers in Industrial IoT domain.

Our product is focusing on enabling high-scale data ingestion & storage and providing rich query & analytics capabilities backed by time series models.

Our customers are using Time Series Insights for continuous monitoring, analyzing and optimizing performance of their IoT assets using out-of-the-box TSI Explorer, as well as building applications on top of our APIs.

TSI Explorer is a major component of Time Series Insights, a web-based single-page-app used by our customers in the core industrial IoT scenarios covering interactive monitoring, analytics and model authoring.

You will be a key member of TSI Explorer development team running the best-in-class analytics app for timeseries data and building the next wave of functionality expanding timeseries analytics into the world of model-driven asset analytics.

Responsibilities
Lead a small UX team focusing on SPA development, control libraries and UX integrations Work with PM and Design teams to solve for very interesting and challenging customer scenarios in the area of asset modeling, timeseries visualization, asset/process graphics, analytics and ML Collaborate with a very strong and highly experienced backend team designing protocols and APIs for querying massive amounts of data, searching and traversing multi-million-node asset and timeseries hierarches Design and deliver scalable front-end solutions to handle large scale streaming data sets with tight rendering and performance constraints Collaborate with PM and other ENG leads to drive feature prioritization and execution Provide technical leadership and guide execution for the UX team Work with autonomy and freedom to innovate Have a choice of the best-of open-source technology A chance to experiment and make data driven choices Tons of opportunity for outsized impact Opportunity to grow with a growing team and product
Qualifications
5+ years of experience with a modern web technology or framework (react, angular, etc.)  Great design and problem-solving skills, passion for finding elegant solutions with demonstrated quality, engineering excellence.  Experience providing technical leadership for a team of 5  Hands-on expertise with a variety of front-end technologies (js/html/css).  Understanding of modern front-end build and deployment infrastructure.  Experience shipping services as containers.  Experience with DOM and SVG manipulation using D3.  Autonomous and pushing things to completion.
