This role is responsible for managing IPT leads and an engineering workforce that is geographically distributed.Boeing Phantom Works Space in Puget Sound has a unique opportunity to work on an exciting and challenging proprietary program.

In joining this program, you will be part of an outstanding team as we shape this new product.Primary Responsibilities: Implementation of common processes, tools, and methods applied across all program areas to include suppliers.Key focus is on vehicle design.Responsible for integration of design tools, methods, and procedures across multiple organizations/program locations.Manages employees performing engineering and technical Mechanical Systems Engineering activities.Guides IPT leads in developing and executing project and process plans, implementing policies and procedures and sets operational goals.Provides mentoring to cost account managers for earned value management.Acquires resources for projects and processes.Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.Manages, develops and motivates employees.Frequent customer interaction is required of this position.Must be willing to travel 30% to 50%.This position requires an active US Top Secret Clearance (US Citizenship Required).

Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active) Prefer Active US Top Secret Clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Access.Basic Qualifications Required: Bachelor?s Degree in an engineering or scientific discipline.3+ years of experience in designing Vehicles or System components.3+ years of experience on space, launch vehicle, and/or aircraft programs.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Knowledge and prior work in Model-Based Engineering (MBE) is highly desired.
