Summary:
As a Senior Product Manager you will help define the roadmap and requirements for APEX offers that bring as-a-Service capabilities to public, private and hybrid cloud deployment models. This Product Manager role will be responsible for launching and sustaining APEX offers in partnership with various product engineering, sales, delivery organizations internally and partners, and customers externally. This is a high impact role for an individual contributor that will drive success for on-premise cloud products and reshape the IT industry as businesses transform from using IT infrastructure as traditional owned asset to infrastructure (IaaS) and platform as a service (PaaS). He / She will also be responsible for providing business and technical leadership for in-market APEX offers, which are used by our customers to host workloads across a spectrum of customer owned data centers, edge sites and public clouds.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
You are experienced in building and launching public cloud offers and capabilities with strong knowledge of underlying technologies
You are experienced in launching offers to the market via different routes (direct, enterprise/commercial, channel/partners etc.)
You are obsessed with customer success and use customer feedback as a key input for product decisions, with a bias for action
You are passionate about solving our customers? business problems
You must have strong technical skills and must understand enterprise IT, datacenter, edge computing systems and associated concepts
It is highly desirable that you have good understanding of container platforms and orchestration systems, such as Dockers and Kubernetes
You have extensive understanding of key customer use cases for on-premises cloud environments, such as structured and unstructured databases, VDI, modern application development etc.
You understand how IT virtualization resources (CPU, memory, storage, bandwidth, IOPS etc.) are consumed by customers and the metrics that are critical for workload operations
You have experience in interacting with customers in the IT industry. Examples: Hyper-scalers, Enterprise IT, Co-Location companies, MSPs, SMB IT departments etc.
You can deal with ambiguity; tight deadlines and you are comfortable with operating in a very fast paced environment
You are an excellent communicator and an expert in presenting to Sales as well as Customers.
You can lead by influence and work cross-functionally to achieve your goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead offering teams to launch new offers in a timely manner. Work closely with Product Marketing, Engineering, Program Management, Services, Sales etc. to accelerate the momentum of APEX offerings
Provide business and technical leadership for in-market offers. This includes leading enablement activities, responding to Sales questions, presenting to Sales and Customers, and drive resolution of operational issues.
Actively maintain key relationships with customers, partners, and sales to gather feedback and identify ways to improve the offer definition.
Lead the communication with all appropriate extended teams and ensures they are informed and in agreement with all activities needed for the product/program/project/solution to succeed.
Drive the creation of offer value propositions and core content for specific target market segments and use cases.
Stay informed and knowledgeable of current and future technology/engineering trends within area of Private and Hybrid cloud specifically IaaS and PaaS.
Experience required:
Typically requires 8+ years of related experience in a professional role with a Bachelor?s degree; or 6+ years with a Master?s degree; or 3+ years with a PhD; or equivalent experience
At least 4 years of experience working on public cloud platforms
Experience in leading Go-to-market activities and conducting field enablement sessions
Experience in defining/delivering cloud, datacenter, or software offers preferably for IaaS and/or PaaS offerings
Experience in driving a consistent focus and excellence with a strong, determined, talented and opinionated team
Expert understanding of business goals and objectives as they relate to customer use cases and solutions
Negotiation skills; Ability to influence at all levels to achieve results
Previous product management experience focused on developer productivity and cloud-native application development highly desired
Excellent communication skills, business acumen and judgement
Articulating and presenting information at EBCs, Conferences etc.
