Apply today to be considered for full and part-time opportunities!The Hygiene Assistant works chair side with the Dental Hygienist making patients feel as comfortable as possible, preparing them for treatment, obtaining their dental records and performs other services delegated by the hygienist and supervising Dentist subject to and in accordance with the state dental board regulations.Responsibilities Assist the Hygienist during a variety of treatment procedures.Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment.Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).Assist the hygienist with charting.Complete Dental Health Scans (Itero machine).Take Alginate Impressions.Manage and complete infection control procedures i.E.

prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.Seat patient and review medical/dental history and highlight any areas of concern.

Take patient tooth shade.Provide patients with instructions for oral care following dental treatment procedures as applicable.Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health as applicable.Perform various office tasks as necessary such as scheduling, calling patients, etc.Willingness to get Coronal Polishing Certification, paid for at the company’s expense.A safe working environment for you and your patients with our Smile Wide Smile Safe Program.

Minimum Education and Experience X-ray certification or credentials required as specified by applicable state specific regulations.Licensure as specified by applicable state specific.High School Diploma or equivalent.Resume must demonstrate stable employment history.About Aspen Dental-branded practicesAspen Dental-branded practices are independently owned and operated by licensed dentists.

Hygienists work for the licensed dentists in the Aspen Dental-branded practices.

The practices receive non-clinical business support services from Aspen Dental Management, Inc., a dental support organization.
