Overview Willapa Harbor Health & Rehabilitation is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (NACs) for our Full-Time Evening shift, as well as PRN!

We recently increased our wages!

Starting pay is between $15.50 and $17.20 per hour dependent on years of experience, plus a $1.50/hour Evening shift differential and $2.50/hour Overnight shift differential.

We have Long term Care and Short Term Care totaling 45 beds when at full capacity!

SCHEDULE: 8-hour shifts; 4 on, 2 off rotating schedule; if PRN, use the On Shift app to pick up shifts you’re available to work!

Depending on site-specific Federal, State, and County requirements, future Avalon employees may be asked to participate in COVID-19 testing procedures as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities Ensure residents’ comfort while assisting them in achieving their highest practicable level of functioning as follows: Assist residents with their activities of daily living.

Provide hygiene andoral care pursuant to plan of care.

Assist residents with dressing and grooming according to their needs.

Bathe residents with attention to privacy, respecting dignity and providing a safe environment.

Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure.

Maintain residents’ rooms in neat, orderly and clutter-free manner.

Qualifications Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (NAC) in good standing with the State.

Must maintain current certification in the state throughout employment.

Must achieve 12 hours of in-service education annually as required by federal regulations (as well as meet state requirements, if exceeds federal).

Must have the ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.

Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents and families and to work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors.

Must be willing to assist others, including co-workers.

Must meet all local health regulations, pass a post-employmentphysical exam if required.

This requirement also includes drug screening, criminal background investigation, and reference inquiry.

Recent clinical experience or education is preferred.
