Two
– 12 hour shifts with hours of 7am-730pm.

Rotating holidays and every third weekend.

Under the direction and general supervision of the Nurse Manager, the registered nurse utilizes evidence based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, policies and procedures of the hospital and as directed by the medical staff.

The registered nurse who through knowledge and ability, uses the nursing process to develop a plan of care which includes standards of practice to meet the physical, emotional spiritual, cultural and educational needs of the patient and family.

Job Summary 24 hour per week.

Weekend, holiday coverage and on-call responsibilities.Functions as Circulator/Scrub Nurse in the Operating Room.

Organizes and administers individualized, professional patient care to patients within the O.R.

Provides nursing care in accordance with the objectives, policies, procedures and protocols of the hospital and AORN, ASPAN and SGNA standards.

Participates in patient teaching; incorporates the needs and behavior of the patient’s specific age/cultural groups in planning and providing care.

Participates in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications Qualifications Registered Nurse Certification according to CT state law.

Masters Degree in Nursing strongly preferred.

Specific experience in specialty may be required We take great care of careers.
