An exciting new opportunity for a Certified Hospital Medical Technician for a distinct, community-owned hospital in Washington State!
The Hospital Medical Technician will have the chance to work in a highly respected Lab department. The Hospital Medical Technician can expect to work in a state-of-the-art facility with the newest equipment to perform a wide range of tests and screenings.
In utilizing this technology, the Hospital Medical Technician can expect to perform: Basic Metabolic Profile (BMP), Complete Blood Count (CBC), Comprehensive Metabolic Profile (CMP), Drug Screenings, Hemoglobin A1C/Diabetes Testing, Lipid Panel/Cholesterol Testing, Liver Function Tests (LFT), Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA)/Prostate Cancer, Prothrombin Time (PT), Thyroid Profile, and more.
Reporting directly to the Hospital Lab Manager, the Certified Hospital Medical Technician will lead the day-to-day work for other Certified Techs and other personnel by performing quality control and quality assurance activities. Additionally, the Certified Hospital Medical Technician will be responsible for planning, performing, evaluating and reporting test results with health care providers and patients.
